1. About these terms. You are using this platform (the "Service") because the organization that invited you (the "Organization") has asked you to submit information and documents for its onboarding, application, or due-diligence process, or has asked you to supply specific information or documents in connection with another person’s file (for example, an accountant providing financial statements). You may be the applicant or a “Contributor” invited to provide particular items; in either case, “you” means the individual accepting these terms. The Service is operated by Axxon Labs Inc. ("Axxon," "we," "us"). These terms form a binding agreement between you and Axxon and govern your access to and use of the Service. Your relationship for the underlying matter (for example, a loan, policy, or account) is with the Organization, not with Axxon.
2. What the Service does. The Service lets you submit information and documents to the Organization and helps the Organization check whether what you submit appears present and complete against criteria the Organization sets.
3. What the Service does not do. The Service does not verify that your information is true, authentic, current, or legally or regulatorily sufficient, and it does not approve, reject, or make any decision about you or your application. All decisions are made by the Organization using its own judgment.
4. Automated assistance and messages. The Service may use automated tools, including an AI assistant, to answer your questions about what is being requested, prompt you for missing items, and follow up on outstanding items. These communications are made in connection with the Organization's process and you should treat them as coming from the Organization. They are informational only and are not legal, financial, tax, or compliance advice. Automated output may be incomplete or incorrect; do not rely on it as your only source, and review anything important yourself.
5. Your responsibilities. You agree to: (a) provide accurate and complete information; (b) submit only information and documents you have the right to share; and (c) not misuse the Service, including no unlawful use, no attempts to breach, probe, or disrupt the Service or its security, and no uploading of malware.
6. Privacy and cross-border processing. Your information is handled as described in the Applicant Privacy Notice, which forms part of these terms. Your information may be stored and processed outside Canada by our service providers, where it may be subject to access by foreign authorities.
7. No warranty. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Axxon disclaims all implied warranties and is not responsible for the Organization's decisions or for your reliance on automated output.
8. Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Axxon's total liability to you arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to CAD $100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including consumer-protection law, or for fraud, personal injury, or willful misconduct.
9. Acceptance and records. By clicking "I agree" (or the equivalent affirmative action), you accept these terms and the Applicant Privacy Notice, whether you are the applicant or a Contributor. Acceptance requires an affirmative act (an un-checked box or button, not pre-selected). We record your acceptance, including organization, role, version, date and time, and user identifier, so we can confirm what you agreed to. The version in force at the time of your acceptance applies to that submission.
10. Changes, governing law, and contact. We may update these terms from time to time; the version presented to you at acceptance governs your submission. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
